On 7th June 2018, the Indian Post Office released the India South Africa Joint issue miniature sheet to commemorate 20 years of strategic and economic partnership between India and South Africa. Relations between South Africa and India were strong even before independence. India South Africa Joint Issue miniature sheet had illustrations by Deendayal Upadhyay and Oliver Reginald Tambo.
