12-02-1984: President Review of the Fleet Miniature Sheet

President Review of the Fleet Miniature Sheet was issued on 12^th February 1984. It was published by the Department of India post. It was released to mark the celebration of the Sixth President Review of the Fleet. This event was organized at Gateway of India, Bombay. It contains a set of 4 Sheets and a total of 96 stamps. It depicts a warship stiffening with deadly weapons and the naval flag fluttering proudly in the wind and the marine crest. The set of Miniature sheets contains the image, that depicts the three-dimensional attacking capability of the Indian Navy by Silhouettes of an aircraft carrier and a Vertical Take-off and Landing aircraft, a missile destroyer and a submarine. The three-element attacking method: The sky, the surface and the ocean depths are denoted by a circular strip in three covers of blue. The Navel Flag is repeated in every stamp. This President’s Review also marks an important event and visit of the state.
