150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Miniature Sheet was released by Department of India Post on 2nd October 2020. This Miniature Sheet mark the celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This Miniature Sheet contains a set of 7 circular stamps. All postage stamps of Miniature Sheet described the effort and thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi. These stamps inspire the world for many generations. Department of India Post also released four postage stamps of Mahatma Gandhi, with the name of SELF RELIANCE, HEALTH AND NATURE CURE, EXPERIMENTS IN EDUCATION – NAI TALIM and ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT. The 150th birth anniversary celebrations promote the message of Mahatma Gandhi. It was relevant in every program of the country, such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Rights of women and children, Development of the Indian farmer and Indian Village. Mahatma Gandhi did not attempt just political independence for the country, he also attempted for a Society free of caste, religious, economic and gender unfairness.
