16-03-2020: Natural Sites INDIAN MINIATURE SHEET

UNESCO World Heritage Convention was started in 1972 for identifying various important cultural and natural sites around the world. After the newest renewing the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, India now has 38 World Heritage Sites situated in India, These contain 30 Cultural Sites, 7 Natural sites and 1 mixed site. Which makes India the sixth largest World Heritage Sites country in the world. For awareness and sharing the information about the Natural Sites of World Heritage Sites in India, the Department of India Post allotted a set of 5 stamps and a miniature sheet on 16^th March 2020 on UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. This is the second segment of the series. Which was dedicated to natural sites. The postage stamp depicts the following five Natural Sites of India: Nanda Devi National Park, Valley of Flowers National Park, Western Ghats, Manas Wildlife Sanctuary, and Great Himalayan National Park.
