It is part of Hindu tradition. It is the world’s largest people gathering for religion. The Mela attracted tens of millions of pilgrims to bathe at the holy meeting point of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the Saraswati. The gathering also contains saints, sadhus, sadhvis, kalvasis and ascetics.
