Kumbh Mela is a festival that captures the science of astronomy, astrology, holiness, ritualistic customs and socio-cultural customs and observation. As per astrological calculations, the geographical location of Kumbh Mela keeps changing between one of the four pilgrimages on four sacred rivers in India. Each pilgrimages celebration is based on a different set of astrological combinations of the Sun, the Moon and Jupiter. The celebration is considered the particular holiest time when these combinations are fully working. The Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj is widely considered the most important among the other four locations of Kumbh Mela.
