Ma. CHAMAN LAL was born in Sialkot (now in Pakistan) on 25 March 1920. In 1942, He was won the gold medal in MSc (Zoology) at the University of Punjab, Lahore. In 1942. He became Sangh Pracharak at Kullu instead of taking a job Lectureship. He shifted to Delhi for doing the work of Sang Pracharak. In Delhi, his prime concern was providing arrangements, jobs, food and medicine for thousands of migrants who were victims of the partition of India.

Description
Ma. CHAMAN LAL was a great social worker and propagator of Kullu. He was a true karmayogi and a selfless son of India. He worked as a bridge between Swaymsewaks and the world. He provided a key role in the creation of RSS centers in over 100 countries. His heritage exists in several associations such as the International Center for Cultural Studies (ICCS) all over the world. On 11th February 2003, More than 1 lakh people has attended oh his cremation in Delhi.
