Guru Nanak Dev Ji(1469-1539) was the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Guru. This is a beautiful historical Gurudwara nestled in the Himalayas at Chungthang in North Sikkim, located 95Kms from Gangtok at an elevation of almost 18000 feet above sea level. Guru Nanak threw a handful of paddy in that place. Now Chungthang is the only place in the surrounding areas where paddy grows in abundance.
