RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE, DEHRADUN was established on 13th March 1922. The main objective of the establishment was to provide training to boys and girls, who want to become Indian army officers. This was established by Prince Edward VIII by the name of Prince of Wales Royal Indian Military College (PWRIMC). After the completing course, Cadet was sent to the UK for pre-commission training. RIMC produced many Army officers to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, who hold the highest ranks in the Army, Navy and Air Force.
