Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a famous UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for a group of Hindu and Jain temples, well known for their Nagara style symbolism. The Javari temple is one of the most prominent of all these temples in the Khajuraho complex. It was built between 975 and 1100 A.D. It has Makara Torana and Shikhara. It has three bands of carved sculptures on the outer wall. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Vishnu.
