Details of the Godiji temple can be found in the Sri Gaudiya Parshwanath Stavan written by Preetivimala in Samvat 1650. These texts also describe a community feast for 800,000 persons. Invitations were extended to over 134,000 families and every Jain temple in Mumbai was welcomed to join the grand celebration. According to Muni Darshan Vijay, the Godiji Parshwanath temple was originally founded by Seth Godidas of Zinzuwada and consecrated by Acharya Hemchandra at Patan in Samvat 1228. It was buried underground to keep it safe. If you want to learn more about India Stamp or Miniature Sheet then visit Philacy.com.
