Gulab Rao Maharaj was a Hindu saint from Maharashtra, India. Born in a farmer’s family, deprived of education, blinded of on early age, facing adverse conditions all around, he was still credited with giving a vision of life to the people. He became blind on being administered the wrong medicine at the age of 9 months. He was married to Mankarnika daughter of Ganaji Bhuyar farmer in nearby village in the year 1896. Gulab Rao Maharaj is also called “Dharama Samanvaya Maharshi” because he compared and contrasted Indian Philosophy with western philosophy.
