Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the Solar System. It is a giant planet composed primarily of gaseous and liquid matter. It is so large that about 1300 earths can be placed inside this giant planet. Jupiter’s upper atmosphere is about 88-92% hydrogen and 8-12% helium by percent volume of gas molecules. Jupiter has a large number of satellites. It also has faint rings around it.
