The India Gate is a Monument of India to Honour the Indian army who were martyred in the First World War and Third Afghan War, It is also known as the All Inda War Memorial. The India Gate is situated across the Rajpath, on the eastern point of the “ceremonial axis” on New Delhi. In 1972, Amar Jawan Jyoti was established at India gate, after that India gate converted into the National Memorial of India to horned India‘s fallen soldiers.

India gate was designed by Edwin Lutyens. On 10 February 1921, the establishment of India Gate was laid and it was inaugurated by Viceroy Lord Lrwin on 12 February 1931. Both sides of the arch of India gate were decorated with India, edged by the dates MCMXIV (1914) and MCMXIX (1919). Below the word, India has honored the name of Armies who martyred between 1914 and 1921 in the First World War in East Africa, Gallipoli, France, Flanders, Mesopotamia, Persia and elsewhere in the East.
