Menin Gate Memorial was Monuments of India in First World War in Leper (Ypres), Belgium. It was dedicated to the Units of the Army to provide an important responsibility in the protection of the Leper (Ypres) during the first and second fight of Ypres in October 1914and April 1915. The monuments honor 400 Indian soldiers who passed away here during the First World War.

Menin Gate Memorial was designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield in 1921 and constructed by the Imperial War Graves Commission. It was revealed on 24 July 1927. It was situated at the eastern exit of the Ypres and symbols the initial point for one of the paths out of the Ypres that directed allied fighters to the front line. The eastern exit of Ypres simply cut over the rest of the walls and crossed a moat. The gateway was known as Menenpoort, or Menin Gate in English because of the path leading through the gateway to the small town of Menen.
