a. 1945 Indian Signed the United Nations Charter.
b. 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by India.
The words Vasudhaiv Kutumbakan, “the whole world is a family”, have often reverberated in the hall of the United Nations. An anniversary is as much a time to look back as to move forward. India is in particular a proponent of reform in the United Nations.
