24-04-2018 : Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna A commemorative postage stamp

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna was born at Bhugani-Pauri Garhwal on 25th April 1919. His father was Sri Rewati Nandan Bahuguna and his mother was Smt. Purna Bahuguna. He took his intermediate degree from Government Inter College, Allahabad and his graduation was completed from Allahabad University, Allahabad in 1946. He became a frequent visitors to Anand Bhawan and Swaraj Bhawan and was infused with the desire of Independence under the Congress flag. He left Janta Party and rejoined Congress in 1979.
