The Indian Post Department on 26th April 2017 released a set of three Commemorative postage stamps named Aatukuri Molla, Viswanatha Satyanarayana and Tarigonda Vengamamba India Postage Stamps. Vishwanath Satyanarayana was born on 10th September 1895 in Nandamuru village, Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, India. He was hailed generally as the poet emperor. He was also a legend in the Telugu language. Vishwanatha Satyanarayana’s most famous works in the Telugu language were “Srimad Ramayana Kalpavriksham” and “Veyi Padagalu”, which were translated from Telugu to Hindi by former Indian Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. Tarigonda Vengamamba was born on 20th April 1730, in the village of Tarigonda in the Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Tarigonda Vengamamba had the pleasure of going to temples and worshipping since childhood. She learned many songs and bhajans from her mother but she spent all his time learning songs. Tarigonda Vengamba was married very soon (8 years) but she did not live with her husband. She used to say that my husband is Lord Balaji (Venkateswara). After some time her husband died but she continued to dress like a married woman. Atukuri Molla (Molla means jasmine in the Telugu language) was born on 13th March 1440 in Kaluvoya Mandal village, Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. Atukuri Molla was the first woman to write Ramayana in Telugu for Telugu-speaking people.
