A new Parliament Complex has been built in India as part of the redevelopment project Central Vista (the road leading from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan is called Central Vista). This new parliament Complex was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28th, 2023. On this Occasion India Post Department release a set of four Parliament Complex India Stamps. This Parliament Complex is built on Rafi Marg and it is completely surrounded by Prime Minister’s Office, Old Parliament House, Vijay Chowk, India Gate, and other buildings. The proposal to build a new parliament to replace the currently stable councils came to the fore in early 2010. In 2012, a committee was set up by Loksabha Speaker Meira Kumar to suggest various measures for all the buildings.

Description
In 2019, the India Government launched the Central Vista redevelopment project, which included the construction of a new parliament building in New Delhi, as well as a new building for the Vice President and also new residences.
