Brihaspati Dev Triguna finished his formal ayurvedic education under the direction of Rajvaidya Pandit Gokul Chand Ji in his Gurukul form from Ludhiana. He was head of the All-India Ayurvedic Congress and worked in many government positions including the Director of the Central Council for study on Ayurveda and the chairman of the National Academy of Ayurveda. He worked towards the stabilization of Ayurvedic medicines, authorizations at the Ayurvedic colleges of India. The nation pleased him by awarding him the Padma Bhushan in 1992. He was also awarded Government’s second-highest Civilian award and the Padma Vibhushan award in 2003.

Description
Brihaspati Dev Triguna was a skillful Ayurvedic physician and scholar of India. He was famed for his abilities in pulse analysis. He was the personal physician of many leading people including the Prime Minister and President of India. In friendship with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, He was helpful in founding many Ayurveda Clinics and Panchakarma Centers internationally. He was also helpful in founding Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) for conserving the Ayurveda information through Guru Shishya Parampara.
