K. G. Saxena was the first honorary consultant of Homeopathy to the Government of India. He had the honor of being the first Honorary Physician to the president of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad. He made enormous hard work for the recognition and development of Homoeopathy. In respect of this facility to the recognition and development of Homeopathy, he was awarded the Padma Shree award. He was also awarded National Award in Homeopathy at Calcutta by N. C. Chakavary Memorial Agency for his brilliant involvement in the recognition and development of Homoeopathy.

K. G. Saxena worked as Secretary of the Homoeopathic Advisory Committee, Government of India from 1962 to 1971. The international Homeopathy congress, New Delhi awarded “President of Honour” in 1967 and 1989 in Calcutta by the Government of West Bengal. From 1994 to 1999, He had been chairman of the Homeopathic Advisory Committee of the Government of Delhi. He was known as the Father of Homeopathy.
